The Ambassador program is a great opportunity to be more  a part of your community and meet many new people.
As the Shelburne Fair Ambassador you will have many opportunities to represent the Shelburne District Agricultural Society at various events, in most cases to bring greetings. Past Ambassadors have found that this program has given them increased confidence, great public speaking skills, leadership in everyday life, and life long friends.

The question that we are often asked is if you need a farming background and the answer is NO! This opportunity will help you see how agriculture affects your urban area. 

Our program is experiencing some change, and your Ambassador Committee will be present before and after the competition. We have put a lot of planning and organization into this program to give the contestants the most out of their Ambassador of the Fair year.

Along with this great experience the winner of the Senior and Junior competition will win several prizes, including for the Senior division, a $1000.00 Bursary toward their post-secondary education.
